The story of Anna — a young professional from St. Petersburg with zero contacts in the industry. She discovered YachtOS and within 10 weeks landed her first contract on a 60-meter superyacht in Antibes.
Anna, 24, from St. Petersburg. She had never set foot on a yacht. She opened YachtOS — and within 10 weeks received an offer from the captain of a 60-meter superyacht.
The first module of the guide ends — and Anna's achievement map comes alive. She sees the nodes of the operating system: "My Documents", "Sea-CV", "My Exchange", "My Network". An onboarding tour pops up: a digital wallet with validity status, a Sea-CV builder, a marketplace of first $YTC and a Social Graph. This is not a landing page with a "buy course" button — it is a door into a closed economic environment.
In "My Finances" Anna opens the budget calculator: STCW in Antibes, ENG1 in Marseille. The system returns a figure of €1,840 and the profile activation date — 12 November. "My Partners" apply a −5% discount. Scans of certificates drop into "My Documents" automatically via the verification API. The Well-being Pulse also launches here: the algorithm recommends "Yachts 40m+, avoid Sole Stew on first contracts".
The "My Resume" builder takes Anna's hotel experience at a Five-Stars property and converts it: "Room care" → "Housekeeping & premium materials care". Every skill gets a source — verified by a platform test or self-declared. The first "CV Pro" badge is earned. Competency map: Hospitality 100%, Housekeeping 70%. Recruiters see not a PDF, but a verified data graph.
No Facebook groups. Only verified positions with agency Trust Scores and reviews from previous candidates. AI templates in "My Chats" are tailored to Anna's Sea-CV. "My News" aggregates scam alerts: if an agency asks for money for a CV, the account is blocked — Anna sees a red flag. Monetization: access to real offers — Pro Student ($99).
Anna is in Antibes. "My Rentals": a crew house at €35/night. The GPS status in "My Work" switches to "In Hub — Antibes" — captains now see her on the map of available candidates. "My Partners" turns on geolocation: a QR referral at the laundry (−15%), ENG1 clinic. Every transaction generates a platform commission in $YTC tokens.
"My Exchange": before stepping on a pontoon, Anna completes Academic Gigs ("Photograph the marina"), earning her first $YTC and +2 TS. Then a Premium Gig: Washdown on M/Y Aurora for €120 + 50 $YTC. The captain's review adds +5 Trust Score and a real line on her Sea-CV. The Bosun from Aurora and the Chief Stew from a neighbouring boat join "My Network". The Social Graph begins to grow.
Anna writes in the "Logbook": "Washed the deck on Aurora. The Bosun praised the mooring work...". This note is indexed as UGC — another newcomer will find the boat and see that the captain pays on time. The object's Trust Score rises. The network is a graph of 11 people. The "My Mentees" microservice is still locked: it will open at Tier-2, when Anna herself takes on a mentee and earns a referral bonus.
Module 9. The exchange shows only KYC-verified agents. Captains with bullying complaints lose Boost Visibility permanently. Anonymised stress indices from the Well-being Pulse are sold to insurance companies — they receive a report: "Correlation between having a mentor and burnout: −0.72". Live data instead of surveys.
Anna completes Module 9. Sea-CV: 7 skills, 3 gigs, 1 Captain Verified review. Documents: STCW valid until 2033, ENG1 until 2031. Achievements: 6 badges, Trust Index 78/100, Tier-1. Network: 11 contacts. The status changes to "Ready to Deploy". Three agencies receive a push: "New candidate: Junior Stew, Antibes, TS 78". Not a PDF attachment — a live API profile.
St. Petersburg → Mediterranean · 10 weeks · Trust Index 78/100 · Tier-1
NPU: 47 (average). ISSYNS: Social + Artistic. Recommendation: 60m+, team, mentor. Not Sole Stew — burnout risk.
STCW (valid until 2033, Antibes), ENG1 (valid until 2031, Marseille), Seaman's Book. Budget €1,840, €97 saved via partners. Sea-CV: 7 skills, 3 platform-verified.
Crew house €35/night. 3 Academic + 2 Premium gigs: €180 + 170 $YTC. Washdown M/Y Aurora — Verified by Captain (+5 TS). Social Graph: 11 contacts.
KYC verification of 3 agencies. Logbook entry M/Y Aurora: +5 to object Trust Score. Scam filter rejected 2 suspicious offers before data was shared.
60m M/Y, €2,800/month, 3 months (until 12 February). Offer received 4 days after "Ready to Fly". Tier-1 activated. 18/18 microservices. Boost Visibility ×2.
Sea-CV is a live skills graph. Every skill is confirmed by a platform test or a captain's review. Recruiters see not a PDF, but a verified competency map.
Certificates are stored in a digital vault and shared with agencies via API — no PDF attachments in WhatsApp.
Trust Score convergence: 89/100 · 1 Verified by Captain · 1 Verified by Chief Stew
Average Trust Score of the network — 71. The graph is built on shared gigs, contracts and recommendations.
No shipyard, no agency, no software giant was ever able to assemble this before. There are five reasons — and each one is fundamental.
For crew agencies, chaos is profit. Agencies make money by filling a vacancy, not by crew efficiency. An open exchange devalues their main asset — exclusive access to the owner. YachtOS owns the Lifetime Value data of every seafarer.
For management, the crew is a cost line. Who should own the Sea-CV? The shipyard builds the boat, the manager runs it, the owner pays. Nobody wants to hold personal data on thousands of seafarers. A vessel off-hire due to bad communication costs €50,000 a day.
The market runs on dozens of fragmented systems: MCP, Boat Inventory, HR platforms. There is no API between them. Trust Score is not star ratings: the model (Wilson interval + mentorship sigmoid) was built from scratch — no off-the-shelf solution existed.
Stress data → insurers. This requires a matrix of jurisdictions: data in the Netherlands, algorithms in Ireland, token sale in Gibraltar, vessel in international waters. Two years of legal work. DLT FSC licence, Gibraltar.
Yachting is a "closed gentlemen's club". ISSYNS and biometrics were perceived as intrusion. The cost of retaining a crew member only became financially legible after the 2022–2023 crisis, when a staffing shortage began threatening navigational safety.
We did not create "yet another app". We acted as a neutral protocol that made the old way of doing business economically unviable.
Every systemic problem of the yacht industry is closed by a specific YachtOS microservice.
A dynamic competency graph. A skill is confirmed by a platform test or "Verified by Captain" (+5 TS). Old skills fade without practice — recruiters see a living profile, not polished words.
A digital wallet with Tracked Expiry status. The system blocks access to the exchange when ENG1 or STCW is overdue and sends a push 30 days before expiry.
The budget calculator returns the profile activation date. If funds are short, it suggests "Pay for training with Academy Gigs" — a closed loop without external loans.
Internal gig orders from the Academy for $YTC tokens. A newcomer gets their first Sea-CV entry and first earnings before going to sea — solving the "cold start" problem.
Access opens after psychotests and reaching a Trust Score >40. Captains only see algorithmically safe candidates — the exchange protects both sides.
Algorithmic recommendation instead of a phone call to a friend. Reputation is inherited: a strong mentor boosts the visibility of their mentees — Sea Meetings forecasts route intersections.
Automatic scam alerts from the network's Logbook. Agency registration is impossible without legal-entity KYC — only verified companies get access to leads.
FMT-3 mechanic: toxic captains lose Boost Visibility automatically. Tired candidates are matched with 40m+ boats that offer private space — the system itself picks a safe environment.
Biometrics (HRV) feed the recommendation algorithm. The system itself matches a safe environment to the psychotype — insurers receive a quarterly B2B report (Q3 2029: burnout 34% vs 82% in 2025).
Coaching Impact metric: a mentee's growth gives +0.1 to the mentor's TS. The microservice unlocks only at Tier-2+ — the system creates an economic incentive to pass on knowledge.
UGC content becomes data. A photo of a shore-power socket or a pontoon's depth raises the object's Trust Score for the entire network — every user enriches the platform's knowledge base.
A closed B2B network. A QR referral locks in the transaction — the platform takes a commission in $YTC. The partner pays a subscription instead of 20–30% to an aggregator.
Verified Crew Houses. A booking is confirmed by the user's Tier status — excluding fake profiles. Smart keys without a host, neighbours matched by psychotype.
A single standard of 9 modules + psychological preparation (ISSYNS). Convergence of Hard Skills and Soft Skills into one index — from psychoprofile to Ready to Deploy.
Badges convert to a Tier status. The global map shows a concrete next step: "To become 2nd Stew, raise Bar Service to 60%". The AI Score affects the profile's Boost on the exchange.
AI response templates adapted to a specific captain's Trust Score and vessel type. Private Fleet Channels, Professional Guilds — a chat is created automatically once a gig is accepted.
An interactive knowledge base. Tap a role to see a responsibility map, the required TS and the average salary — the Knowledge Map highlights Skill Gaps for a specific contract.
GPS status tracking: Home Hub → Traveling → In Hub → Ready to Deploy → On Board. Agencies pay for access to leads — only "Ready to Deploy" profiles appear in captains' feeds.
Yachting has stopped being an industry of "who you know". It has become an industry of "what you can do — and who confirms it".
One YachtOS — five completely different stories. Click on a card to read each.
18 microservices. 9 modules. One path — from "I want to work on a yacht" to a first contract in 10 weeks. Without chaos, without scams, without "you'll learn on the pontoon".
What you have seen is the tip of the iceberg. Behind it stands a working architecture.
Tokenomics. A dual-currency system $YTC and $PREM with a progressive commission, referral programs, an internal shop and a closed economy that keeps users on the platform.
Trust-index metric systems. Trust Score is not a static number — it is a dynamically computed indicator that takes into account skill verification, captain reviews, gig history, Coaching Impact, Well-being Pulse stress data and the social graph. It is recalculated in real time.
Horizontal microservice links. All 18 microservices work as an event-driven system. A single completed gig simultaneously updates the Sea-CV, raises the Trust Score, credits tokens in the wallet, enriches the Social Graph, logs the stress level in the Well-being Pulse, indexes the object in the Logbook, and lifts the profile in the Candidate Board.
Desktop prototype. A fully built model of all 18 microservices with working transitions, interfaces and interaction logic. Not concept art — a clickable product.
Full training guide. 9 modules, 10 psychotests, 14 bonus programs, homework assignments that simultaneously activate microservices. The entire information hub of the project — collected, structured and ready to deploy.
